RAEFORD, N.C. -- Hoke County deputies say a Fort Bragg paratrooper recently returned from Iraq shot and killed his wife before turning the gun on himself.
Investigators said Tuesday that the body of 24-year-old Staff Sgt. Seth Andrews was found late Saturday night at his home in Raeford.
Deputies also found the body of his wife, Hillary Andrews.
A statement from the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg says Seth Andrews was a native of Moberly, Mo., who joined the Army in June 2005. His service included deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, and he returned from the former late last month.
Sheriff's deputies say the case remains under investigation.
